Block & Co.-headed investment group buys former Best Buy building in Kansas

A Block & Company, Inc., Realtors-headed investment group has acquired the former Best Buy building at 10500 Parallel Parkway in Kansas City, Kansas.

The 46,538-square-foot freestanding building sits on 4.22 acres in the 850,000-square-foot Plaza at the Speedway Shopping Center. It is strategically located on the northwest corner of Interstate-435 and Parallel Parkway in front of Sam’s Club.

Plaza at the Speedway is anchored by Walmart Supercenter, Kohl’s and Sam’s Club. Other tenants include Taco Bell, Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Chick-fil-A, Jack in the Box, Wendy’s, St. Luke’s Community Hospital and many more.

David M. Block, Alex Block and Max Kosoglad of Block & Company, Inc., Realtors represented the buying entity in this transaction. Block & Company will be handling the leasing and management of the former Best Buy. The entire building can be leased or it can be divided.
