David M. Block, president of Kansas City, Missouri-based Block & Company, recently commissioned a mural from local artist Whitney Kerr III to pay homage to first responders and important members of Kansas City’s workforce during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 13-foot-wide by 8-foot-tall mural is now on display at Block & Company headquarters at the Skelly Building on the Country Club Plaza, located at 605 W. 47th Street in Kansas City, Missouri.
“On behalf of myself, my family, and everyone at Block & Company, we are truly appreciative of all of the first responders who are placing themselves in harm’s way for the safety and well being of us all. We hope the mural will serve as a reminder of our great appreciation for them,” Block said.
