Bob Toland has joined the Chicago regional office of NorthMarq Capital as vice president. His primary focus will be to structure and place debt and equity for clients seeking to acquire, refinance or develop commercial real estate properties.
Most recently, Toland served as managing director at Berkadia, where for 30 years he was responsible for the origination of commercial, multifamily, industrial, retail and office mortgages throughout the United States.
Loan types include fixed and floating and ranged from $1 million to $100 million. He was part of the Top Performers-Chairman’s Club for multiple years during his varied tenure.
Toland received his degree in finance from Miami University and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame. He has served on the advisory council for One America.
