MC Industrial, Inc. has topped out one of its major projects of the year, the St. Louis Composite Center of Excellence–the expansion of Boeing‘s new composite facility.
Located on Boeing’s St. Louis campus, the MC Industrial team self-performed structural steel erection to top out the 424,000 square foot manufacturing and paint facility.
MC Industrial and design partner, Burns & McDonnell, have managed the design and construction of the multi-million dollar expansion.
The St. Louis Composite Center of Excellence will serve as the production hub for manufacturing composite parts to fabricate wing and empennage pieces for Boeing’s new 777X airplane program.
Project completion is scheduled for September 2016.
