Construction management firm the Boldt Company has completed the redesign and renovation of its new corporate headquarters and has moved into its new location at 2121 E. Capitol Drive in Appleton, Wisconsin.

OneBoldt Center is a two-story office building that is now home to Boldt’s Executive and Enterprise Support teams that provide services for its other 17 office locations across the country.

“This move solidifies our continued presence in the Appleton and greater Fox River Valley region as both a builder and a corporate citizen in the community,” said Boldt President Dave Kievet. “The renovation of the 44,000 square-foot, 13-acre campus gives us the room we need for our current and future growth over the next decade and enables us to better serve our employees and customers.”

The former Integrity Insurance building was originally designed by Potter Lawson Architects and constructed by The Boldt Company in 1990/91. The 6-month renovation of the existing facility creates a collaborative, transparent, and welcoming environment that includes huddle rooms, hybrid workstations, a health and fitness center and abundant natural lighting. EUA, formerly Performa Architects, provided the initial space planning services while Boldt’s in-house technical services team provided the architectural design services. The facility will accommodate more than 200 employees.

Creating office space that considered future sustainability was also important. Boldt integrated its own sustainable building expertise into the plan by incorporating renewable energy options which included upgrading to LED lighting throughout and installing an ionization purification system. In the renovation process, the existing office furnishings and fixtures were refurbished for use throughout the building or moved to other jobsites and field offices—none of the furnishings went into a landfill.

In addition to the interior office space renovation, Boldt’s National Power & Industrial (NPI) team constructed a solar panel installation on the grounds. The solar array, owned by WE Energies, positively impacts the campus’ environmental footprint and will help to offset some of the community’s energy needs.

Boldt’s former headquarters on Roemer Road in Appleton, Wisconsin will remain open and continue to support its Northern Operations Group which serves the greater Fox River Valley region and Boldt’s National Power & Industrial Operations Group.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony is set for Spring 2023.
