The Building Owners and Managers Association of Suburban Chicago will host Industrial 101, a workshop designed to delineate the key differences between managing industrial properties and office properties, as well as provide a basic outline for industrial management.
The workshop will be on June 5 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the BOMA/Suburban Chicago offices in Schaumburg, and is open to property professionals involved in industrial property management.
After the inaugural offering in 2012, the workshop has been redeveloped into a three-part program. Industrial 101 will focus on “Why Industrial?”… Why do developers, investors, brokers, tenants and property managers like industrial properties? Two future sessions will address “Building Components” and “Operations and Management.”
Fee for BOMA/Suburban Chicago members is $25; nonmembers may attend for $50. Pre-registration is required; deadline is May 24. For more information, contact BOMA/Suburban Chicago at (847) 995-0970 or [email protected]. A registration link is available on the association’s calendar at www.bomasuburbanchicago.com.
