Renovations for the 10,000-square-foot Bottled Blonde Pizzeria + Beer Garden, Chicago’s first location at 504 N. Wells Street, are officially complete according to The Missner Group. The Scottsdale and Tucson, Arizona-based restaurant/bar chain opened to the public Nov. 5.
“It’s always rewarding to see the successful results of our efforts and the satisfaction of our clients,” Glen Missner, executive vice president and principal of The Missner Group, said. “The new Bottled Blonde space is an energetic, rustic and communal atmosphere that will fast become a hot spot in River North. We are pleased to have been a part of this exciting project.”
Reminiscent of a German beer garden, Bottled Blonde is known for its open spaces, large capacity, and extensive multi-media viewing options.
Construction included the demolition and reconstruction of the former Sushi Samba space with the addition of 14-foot overhead doors at the front entry. The new space features a fireplace, two bars, more than 50 HD televisions throughout and a state-of-the-art sound system, as well as a bottle-lined wall with LED lighting and an ivy covered wall.
Constructed with rustic custom finishes, concrete counter tops and a reclaimed wood ceiling, Bottled Blonde also includes a private dining area for events, an outdoor patio and booth seating.
Aldo Bottalla, vice president of business development, was the project executive for The Missner Group and worked closely with ownership for the past two years to secure the renovation project.
The construction team for The Missner Group was led by Robert Papineau, senior project manager and Angelo Christopher, site superintendent. D+K Architects provided the architectural services.
