John Petrovski has been promoted to managing director and head of U.S. commercial real estate with BMO Harris Bank. He will be based in Chicago.
Petrovski previously worked as the chief operating officer with te commercial real estate team at BMO Harris Bank. Before joining BMO Harris, Petrovski led the commercial real estate lending platforms at Merrill Lynch Capital and Heller Financial Real Estate.
Petrovski also worked with the FDIC, running teams in the division of resolution and receiverships.
“We have a very strong commercial real estate business in markets throughout the country, and under John’s leadership, I am confident that will continue,” said Dave Casper, executive vice president and head of commercial banking at BMO Harris, in a written statement.
Petrovski succeeds Dan Hampton, who will continue with BMO Harris’ commercial real estate team in a senior role. He will now work out of the company’s Indianapolis office, where he will focus on business development and client relationships.
“Over the past five years leading the commercial team, Dan has brought together a very talented team that has earned a great reputation in the marketplace,” Casper said.
