Briana Succop joins Harrison Street’s client services and marketing team

Harrison Street, one of the largest real estate investment firms dedicated to the education, healthcare and storage sectors, announced that Briana Succop has joined the firm’s client services and marketing team as vice president. In this role, Succop will focus primarily on developing and expanding the firm’s relationships within the consultant community.

“Briana’s deep relationships across the consultant and institutional investor communities, coupled with her real estate investing background, make her a perfect fit for the Harrison Street team,” said Christopher Merrill, co-founder and chief executive officer of Harrison Street. “Briana is an expert in client communications in the industry and we look forward to her contributions to the firm and our clients.”

Succop brings nearly 15 years of real estate investment and capital raising experience to Harrison Street. She most recently served as vice president at Abacus Capital Group, where she was responsible for the firm’s capital raising efforts. Previously, she served as a vice president at Covenant Capital Group, where she led the successful fundraising of the firm’s two largest funds. Prior to her capital raising roles, she served as assistant portfolio manager at The Townsend Group. She began her career at KeyBank in its debt capital markets and real estate private equity groups.

Succop holds a graduate certificate in real estate finance from Cleveland State University and a bachelor’s in business administration from Ohio University. Her hiring follows the recent addition of Elizabeth Wohlleb to Harrison Street’s client services and marketing team as managing director.
