Chicago-based Bridge Development Partners, LLC announces its latest development in Kenosha, Wisconsin and the sale of 200 acres to Uline, Inc. for the development of up to 3 million square feet of office and distribution buildings.
Bridge Point Kenosha is a nearly 400 acre business park at Highway 142 and Interstate 94, across from the new Amazon.com fulfillment center
“As Chicago continues to expand, the Kenosha area is well-positioned for continued growth and job creation,” said Bridge principal Tony Pricco. “The City of Kenosha and State of Wisconsin are very pro-business and aggressive in pulling companies across the state line from Illinois. We anticipate a lot of activity for the remaining sites, especially for large users that are having a hard time finding sites further south that can accommodate large buildings with even larger future expansion needs.”
Cushman & Wakefield’s Whit Heitman, Sam Badger and Brad Weiner represented Bridge in both the land acquisitions and disposition to Uline. Keith Puritz, Brett Kroner, Ryan Bain and Zach Graham of CBRE represented Uline.
Bridge will oversee the land development of the 200 acre Uline parcel beginning in Spring 2015 with the construction of required offsite access and utility improvements. Uline plans to build a nearly three million-square-foot campus, with initial plans for a one million square foot warehouse facility and 50,000 square feet of office and call center space. Uline plans to take occupancy in mid 2016. The firm will consolidate three facilities in Waukegan and North Chicago into this campus moving about 475 jobs.
Bridge will retain nearly 200 acres set for future development.
