Briggs and Morgan, a law firm based in Minneapolis, has signed a new 93,000-square-foot lease at IDS Center in downtown Minneapolis. Briggs and Morgan is planning a full renovation for the space.
The firm, which employs 250 people in its IDS space, will fully renovate its offices on floors 22 through 25 of IDS Center, creating a more modern, open and collaborative space.
“Our new office space will help our firm become more efficient, will enhance collaboration between teams and help us compete for talent,” said Steve Ryan, President and Managing Partner of Briggs and Morgan, in a statement.
The project’s success is attributable to the leadership of Ann Rainhart, Chief Operating Officer, and Julie Munneke, Director of Facilities Management, at Briggs and Morgan, along with the Cushman & Wakefield team of Paul Donovan, Jaclyn May, Jeremy Striffler, Jennifer Stumm and Sherry Cushman overseeing the strategic planning, site selection and overall design and construction process.
The NELSON team of Scott Hierlinger, Deanne Erpelding, Jonathan Hanson and Michelle Sirivong along with Michael Johnson of MP Johnson Construction, Inc. were instrumental in the project’s design and construction plans.
Work on the space began in earnest in summer 2018 with a targeted completion date of mid-2020.
