Brinkmann Constructors recently broke ground on a 505,000-square-foot multifamily community on the former site of a mixed-use retail development in Merriam, Kansas.
In partnership with Drake Development, Merriam Grand Station Lofts will span six acres and bring 361 luxury apartment units to the Kansas City metropolitan area.
This multifamily project is part of Merriam Grand Station, a $72.5 million redevelopment offering retail, residential, and public gathering space. Merriam Grand Station Lofts will include two four-story buildings with 73,000 square feet of below-grade parking.
Located off Shawnee Mission Parkway, this community will provide quick access to both Kansas City, Kansas, and Kansas City, Missouri, downtown areas and feature numerous upscale amenities, such as a courtyard pool, pet wash station, game rooms and electric vehicle charging stations.
Vacant 10 years prior to the project’s start, the Merriam Grand Station redevelopment is targeting a 2025 completion.
