Brinkmann Constructors, a national general contractor, recently broke ground on a 505,000-square-foot multifamily community on the former site of a mixed-use retail development in Merriam, Kansas.
In partnership with Drake Development, Merriam Grand Station Lofts will span 6 acres and bring 361 luxury apartment units to the Kansas City metropolitan area.
This multifamily project is part of Merriam Grand Station, a $72.5 million redevelopment offering retail, residential and public gathering space. Merriam Grand Station Lofts will include two four-story buildings with 73,000 square feet of below-grade parking.
Located off Shawnee Mission Parkway, this community will provide quick access to both downtown areas and feature numerous upscale amenities, such as a courtyard pool, pet wash station, game rooms and electric vehicle charging stations.
Vacant 10 years prior to the project’s start, the Merriam Grand Station redevelopment is targeting a 2025 completion.
