Brown Commercial Group has brokered three industrial acquisitions, totaling 25,400 square feet, in the Chicago suburban market.
In the first transaction, CMP Anodizing Inc. acquired the 10,000-square-foot industrial building at 1530 Louis Ave. in Elk Grove Village. The seller was Citrus & Allied Essences LTD, which has moved its operations out of the state.
The acquisition represents an expansion for CMP Anodizing Inc., which currently serves the metal industry with anodizing, hard coat anodizing, industrial hard chrome plating and electroless nickel plating services from a 10,000-square-foot location at 1340 Howard St., also in Elk Grove Village.
Mason Hezner, an associate with Brown Commercial, represented the buyer in the transaction. The seller, a supplier of essential oils, oleoresins, aromatic chemicals and specialty flavor ingredients, was represented by Boris Shraybman and Kenneth Szady of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank’s capital markets group in Chicago
The asset features a loading dock, drive-in-door and a foam sprinkler system throughout the building.
In the second transaction, CSD Direct Messenger Service Inc. purchased an 8,000-square-foot building at 353-355 Crossen Ave. in Elk Grove Village. The building is climate controlled and has several lab/technician rooms, along with two truck docks. Brown represented the seller, Zoran Beric, an electrical company that was moving to a larger space. Hezner represented the buyer.
In the third transaction, Sikora Automation acquired the 7,400-square-foot, free-standing manufacturing facility at 845 Westgate Drive in Addison. Brown Commercial Associate Mike Antonelli represented the buyer in the transaction. The seller was represented by Brad Bullington with GC Realty.
Sikora Automation, a manufacturer of automatic vibratory parts feeder systems, vibratory feeder bowls, inline tracks and hoppers, will relocate its operations to the building.
