Brown Commercial Group negotiated five transactions totaling 34,476 square feet, including a 5.13-acre property sale in McHenry County that included a four-unit industrial building and outdoor space for transportation parking.
Broker Candace Scurto represented a private trucking company in buying the 5.13-acre property at 5219 N. Richmond Road, Ringwood, IL, which has three residential homes and one 12,160-square-foot, industrial building on the site. The property was sold after a bidding war with other potential buyers.
“There is an incredible demand for truck parking right now, as investors continue to buy up all the available industrial buildings for e-commerce and logistics uses and trucking companies are left with few options for parking spaces,” Scurto said. “This property was ideal because it filled the need for parking and allows the buyer to secure investment income from the industrial space.”
