Brown Commercial Group brokered two leases and two sales totaling 19,220 square feet in Chicago’s western suburbs.
President Dan Brown, along with broker Candace Scurto, represented the landlord, Omega Demolition, in leasing 7,500 square feet and two acres of outdoor space at 31W566 Spaulding Road in Elgin, Illinois. The tenant, KLI Express, is a car transporting company that will use the outdoor storage for fleet maintenance. GC Realty’s Jeff Piser represented the tenant.
“This was a unique transaction because we were able to fill the space quickly while satisfying the strong market demand for outdoor storage,” said Brown. “Tenants looking for outside storage have few options and need to move quickly when spaces do become available.”
Brown Commercial broker, Brian Lindgren, represented 28W600 Roosevelt Road LLC in selling a 6,000-square-foot building at 28W600 Roosevelt Road in Winfield, Illinois to 154 Easy Street LLC. The buyer will use the building as an office and warehouse space for its courier business. The buyer was represented by Ron Swacker of Caton Commercial Real Estate Group.
Brown and Scurto also represented a private investor in the purchase of a 3,000-square-foot building at 333 E. Potter in Wood Dale, Illinois from another private investor. The buyer was looking for a location to store antique cars. The seller was represented by GC Realty’s Brad Bullington.
In the final transaction, Brown Commercial Group broker, Matt Hanson, represented Nubilus Vapor in its lease of 2,720 square feet at 591 Edgewood in Wood Dale. The tenant is expanding from a smaller location in Des Plaines, Illinois. The landlord, a private investor, was represented by Cushman & Wakefield’s Jeff Matella.
