Brown Commercial Group completed three industrial transactions totaling 26,791 square feet in Chicago’s western and northwestern suburbs.
“We continue to see manufacturing businesses expanding their operations and looking for additional space in the Chicago market,” said Dan Brown, president of Brown Commercial Group.
Brown Commercial Group broker, Matt Hanson, represented both the seller and the buyer, NIC Solutions, in the sale of a 10,000-square-foot space at 123-133 Easy Street in Carol Stream, Illinois. The buyer is an architectural metal manufacturing company that is expanding from another location in Carol Stream. Hanson worked with the building’s former tenant as well as the seller and buyer to negotiate move-in and move-out dates that fit a condensed schedule.
In the second sale, Brown Commercial Group broker, Candace Scurto, represented J2Group LLC in its acquisition of a 8,000-square-foot building at 940 Dieckman Street in Woodstock, Illinois. The buyer manufactures and distributes mushroom growing kits and is more than doubling its space from its previous location. Scurto was able to identify a small, free-standing space, which is rare in today’s market. Keefe Real Estate/Kilkenny Group’s Clancy Green represented the seller, a private investor.
Scurto also represented Harrison Sales and Manufacturing, Inc. in its lease of 8,791 square feet at 1706-1708 Berkley Street in Elgin, Illinois. The tenant is a plastic products manufacturing and distribution business. Brown Commercial Group brokers, Brian Lindgren and Maria McNeil, represented the building owner.
