Brown Commercial Group negotiated three industrial transactions totaling 23,416 square feet in the Chicago market.
Broker Candace Scurto negotiated all three transactions, including representing the seller of a 16,766-square-foot building at 825 Chase Avenue in Elk Grove Village, IL, in the O’Hare submarket. The seller, a private investor, wanted to take advantage of the strong industrial sales market yet the building lacks tall ceilings and other modern features some tenants prefer.
The buyer, who was represented by Rachael Gish of @properties, will be using the space for its automatic ceramic coating and paint protection business.
Scurto also negotiated the acquisition of a 5,000-square-foot industrial unit at 188-190 Seegers Ave. in Elk Grove Village, IL. OVN Logistics had been leasing space and spent more than a year looking for a new location for its trucking business. Dan Brown, President of Brown Commercial Group, represented the owner, a private investor.
The third transaction was a 1,650-square-foot lease at 1532 E. Algonquin Road in Arlington Heights, IL that will allow Aon Heating and Cooling to expand its space. Scurto represented the landlord and tenant, negotiating a favorable transaction for both sides.
