Brown Commercial Group represented sellers in two dispositions totaling 26,563 square feet in DuPage County. Brown Commercial Group Partner Trinity Scurto represented Innovative Rack & Gear Co. in a 20,000-square-foot industrial building sale at 361-365 Balm Ct. in Wood Dale, IL.
The buyer was Krumwiede Home Pros., a home remodeling business that will be moving from a 5,000-square-foot space in Bensenville, IL. The Wood Dale building will become its new headquarters as the business expands throughout the western suburbs. Brown Commercial Group Broker Pat Crowley represented Krumwiede in the acquisition.
Crowley also represented Hinsdale Furriers in its sale of a 6,563-square-foot retail building at 33 E. 1stStreet in Hinsdale, IL. The 70-year-old company is going out of business and selling the building to Frederick Lynn Haberdasshere, a hand-tailored apparel retailer specializing in custom garments. CTK Chicago Partners’ Steve Aaronson represented the buyer in the transaction.
“These are both solid buildings that were acquired by growing businesses in the western suburbs,” says Crowley. “As the economy reawakens after the COVID-19 pandemic, we expect to see more buildings changing hands as companies see a continued need for larger and more efficient spaces.”
