Brown Commercial Group, Inc. represented Pat Mooney Saws in the disposition of a 15,6000-square-foot industrial building at 502 S. Westgate Drive in Addison, Illinois. The transaction generated multiple offers within the first two weeks of marketing.
Partner Mike Antonelli, SIOR, and Broker Matt Hanson, represented the seller in analyzing its industrial space requirements and leveraging the strong investment market to sell excess space that did not fit with its current needs. This is Antonelli’s fourth transaction for Pat Mooney Saws and it follows a 28,810-square-foot building acquisition at 25 W. Official Road in Addison. That acquisition allowed the company to double its manufacturing and warehouse capacity in a building that is across the street from the company headquarters and manufacturing facility.
Pat Mooney Saws is a distributor and importer of metal sawing machinery, accessories, and saw blades.
The buyer, a private investor, is expanding their industrial space in the market. Ross Lehrman of Transwestern represented the buyer.
Pat Mooney Saws has been a family-owned business in Addison for more than 70 years and is now in its fourth generation of family ownership. In addition to distributing saws and related equipment, the company offers equipment services, training and demonstrations. The headquarters at 16 W. Official Road has a tech center, and a fabrication and assembly shop for material handling equipment.
