Brown Commercial Group represented a new start-up tenant, Doorage, in its lease of 21,627 square feet at 801 Chase Avenue, Unit A in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Senior associate Mason Hezner represented Doorage, which offers on-demand self-storage based on volume.

Customers can request storage pick up or drop offs through the company’s website or app. This is the company’s first warehouse that will be used to house items stored by customers.

“Doorage is a new business that is anticipating fast growth,” Hezner said. “They were looking for a landlord with a wide portfolio of properties in Chicago and across the country, and this location was a great fit.”

The building owner, Westmount Realty Capital, was represented by Cawley Chicago Real Estate’s Andrew Maletich and Howard Bergdoll. Doorage hopes to continue to work with Westmount to expand its business to larger facilities within the Chicago area and throughout the country over the next few years.
