Brown Commercial Group, Inc. represented Pat Mooney Saws in its acquisition of a 28,810-square-foot building at 25 W. Official Road in Addison, Illinois. Partner Mike Antonelli represented the distributor and importer of metal sawing machinery, accessories, and saw blades in expanding to a second location. The newly acquired building is across the street from Pat Mooney Saws’ headquarters and manufacturing building and allows the company to double its manufacturing and warehouse capacity.
The building is on 1.45 acres of land within an established industrial park and is less than 10 miles from O’Hare International Airport. Built in 1968, the building has two docks and two drive-in doors. Cushman & Wakefield’s Sean Kropke and Jeff Matella represented the seller, a private investor, in the transaction.
Pat Mooney Saws has been a family-owned business in Addison, Illinois for more than 70 years and is now in its fourth generation of family ownership. In addition to distributing saws and related equipment, the company offers equipment services, training and demonstrations. The headquarters at 16 W. Official Road has a tech center, and a fabrication and assembly shop for material handling equipment.
