Brown Commercial Group has completed four industrial transactions totaling 41,870 square feet in the Chicago suburban market, including a building sale that set a record in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, for the highest price per square foot price in its size range.
Broker Candace Scurto negotiated all the transactions, including the 150 Crossen Ave. building in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, that sold for $703,500, and a record $105 per square foot. She represented the seller of the 6,700-square-foot building, Easy Ice LLC, which was relocating its Elk Grove Village branch to another state. The building was purchased by Zip Dee, Inc., which was represented by Mike Magliano of Cushman & Wakefield.
Scurto also represented a private investor in buying a 21,970-square-foot building at 461 Park Ave. in Lake Villa, Illinois. The buyers were attracted to this building because it will allow them to add more multi-tenant assets to their portfolio. Jim Conrad of McLellan Commercial Properties represented the seller.
Scurto also represented:
- The seller, a private investor, in selling a 10,120-square-foot building at 115 University Drive in Arlington Height, Illinois. The seller was downsizing its operations in Illinois and no longer needed the space. The property has a large land site with the potential for outside storage, which is in high demand and was a good fit for the buyer, a local landscaping company. Shaun Burke of Keller Williams North Shore West represented the buyer.
- The landlord in leasing a 3,080-square-foot space at 420 Bonnie Lane in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Brown Commercial Group Broker Pat Crowley represented the tenant, TN International LLC, a clothing distribution company that is relocating from a building in Bensenville, Illinois.
