Brown Commercial Group recently completed three transactions totaling nearly 20,000 square feet in Chicago’s O’Hare and northwest suburban markets.

“Despite the challenges of navigating business disruptions and other economic issues during the pandemic, Chicago’s industrial sector remains strong,” said Dan Brown, president of Brown Commercial Group. “Many parts of the Chicago suburban market continue to attract growing businesses that are planning ahead and want access to a large population base and strong labor pools.”

The largest transaction was a 13,500-square-foot building sale at 685-695 Lunt Avenue in Elk Grove Village, Illinois from 685 Lunt Avenue, LLC to 685 Lunt, LLC, a different entity. The building is comprised of two 6,750-square-foot units. One is leased to a trade show company whose owner will continue to operate out of the space, while the second unit will be owner occupied by It’s a Wonderful Light, LLC. The holiday lighting installation company doubling its space from another location in Elk Grove Village. Brown Commercial Group senior broker Mason Hezner represented both the buyer and seller in the sale.

Brown Commercial Group broker Pat Crowley represented two buyers in their purchases of industrial condominiums in Schaumburg, Illinois. He represented Prestige Grout & Tile in its purchase of a 3,271-square-foot space at 542 Pratt Avenue, while Brown Commercial Group partner Trinity Scurto represented the seller, ZL International. Crowley also represented trucking and logistics firm OKAN Transportation, Inc. in its purchase of 3,000 square feet at 640 Pratt Avenue. Lee & Associates’ Rick Anesi represented the seller.
