Builtech Services names Tony Iannessa division president of newly created interiors division

Builtech Interiors Group, a new division of Builtech Services LLC dedicated to corporate interiors construction, has appointed interiors construction industry veteran Anthony Iannessa as division president.

Builtech Interiors Group will operate out of new offices at 1021 W. Adams in Chicago’s West Loop. The offices will initially serve 15 employees and provide room for planned expansion over the next several months. In addition to serving as divisional HQ, numerous Builtech team members serving other vertical markets will be transitioning to the West Loop location. Builtech’s corporate headquarters will remain in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Iannessa comes to Builtech with ten years of corporate interiors construction experience, having most recently served as vice president of Hoffman Estates-based Leopardo Companies $140 million corporate interiors division.

In that position, Iannessa managed hundreds of large-scale projects accounting for more than two million square feet of interior office construction throughout the Chicago area, including significant projects for corporations like GrubHub, Twitter, ContextMedia, Vivid Seats, Motorola Mobility, Credit Suisse, Stats, Amazon, VelocityEHS, Edelman, Canon, Fidelity, Houlihan Lokey, Draper & Kramer, Donlen Corp, Option Care, Thermos.

“The growth opportunity for corporate interiors projects in the Chicago area and other markets has never been more favorable,” Iannessa said.  “Builtech already has an exceptional reputation in this and other areas of construction, and the launch of a separate Builtech Interiors Group in downtown Chicago will speed our ability to successfully compete for major new projects.  I am thrilled to be a part of this team and looking forward to all we will achieve for our clients.”

Iannessa was graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science degree in management.  He currently resides in Chicago’s Ukrainian Village neighborhood with his wife of two years.
