Byline Bank adds Robertson, Hunter to commercial real estate division

Byline Bank has hired two professionals to its commercial real estate group. Matthew Robertson joins Byline Bank’s commercial real estate group as senior vice president, team lead and Sarah Hunter comes aboard as vice president, commercial real estate.

Robertson brings nearly 15 years of experience lending to entrepreneurial and institutional real estate investors and developers across the country, and will cultivate a team of bankers at Byline to serve the commercial real estate and business banking needs of customers. Robertson comes to Byline from Fifth Third Bank, formerly MB Financial Bank, where he managed a team with a combined portfolio of over $950 million in committed capital.

Hunter has over 10 years of experience and will join Byline’s growing national commercial real estate group to support its expansion across all sectors of the real estate industry. Prior to joining Byline, she served as a vice president, commercial real estate for Fifth Third Bank, formerly MB Financial Bank.
