Capstone Financial has funded a 744,000-square-foot retail center in St. Louis.
Mike Afentoullis, Capstone’s managing director, said that the borrower wanted to refinance its existing debt into a low-rate loan to maximize cash flow and fund tenant improvements and leasing commissions.
Afentoullis said that Capstone was able to secure a high-leverage loan on multiple buildings with a flexible prepayment penalty.
