Lauth Group, Inc. appointed Derek Hawkins as President of Lauth Industrial, bringing more than two decades of industrial real estate expertise to the company’s proven development platform.
Hawkins previously served in senior leadership at Becknell Industrial and, before that, at Simon Property Group, where he oversaw large-scale development, acquisition, and leasing initiatives nationwide. Over his career, he has directed the development and acquisition of more than 18.5 million square feet of industrial space valued at nearly $1 billion, spanning markets across the Midwest and Southeast.
Recognized for structuring complex transactions and guiding projects from concept to completion, Hawkins will now lead Lauth’s industrial strategy with a focus on site selection, market expansion, and tenant-driven solutions.
Industrial development has long been central to Lauth’s success. Since 1977, the company has delivered more than $4 billion in projects across the U.S., leveraging its integrated services in development, construction, property management, and facilities maintenance. Hawkins’ leadership builds on this foundation, positioning Lauth to expand its presence in key Midwest and national markets.
