Kansas City, Mo.-based Commerce Tower Group, LLC has selected Cassidy Turley to provide project leasing and management services for Commerce Tower, a key office building located at 911 Main St. in Kansas City’s downtown submarket.
The Cassidy Turley team of Michael Lanning, Thomas Houts and Jeffrey Winters will lease the 463,495-square-foot building, which is slated for redevelopment.
Commerce Tower Group plans to convert the office building into a mixed-use property with 160,000 square feet of office space and about 265 Class-A apartment units that will cost an estimated $70 million.
Commerce Tower’s first floor will be converted into retail space, while offices will remain on floors two through 14 and 24 through 30. Apartments will be located on floors 15 through 24.
The office space is expected to be completed in the summer of 2014, with the entire project to be delivered by the spring of 2015. Additional amenities include a fitness facility, conference rooms and a rooftop green space and pool.
