Cawley Chicago recently closed on 3228 S. Wood Street in Chicago. SES Equipment Services sold the asset to Taylor Excavating & Construction Inc. for an undisclosed sum.
The Chicago Industrial team, led by principal, Frank Melchert and Stevan Arandjelovic handled the deal for the warehouse building located off of I-55 and Damen Avenue, situated between Pilsen and the stockyards corridors. Melchert and Arandjelovic represented the seller and directly sourced the buyer.
The facility sits on 1.48 acres of land and offers 18,000 square feet of maintenance bays and two-story office, along with a securely fenced lot.
“This is a perfectly located warehouse and yard space. With quick access to downtown and its surrounding neighborhoods via a full interchange at I-55 and Damen, the buyer will be able to service his costumers with true efficiency,” said Melchert. “It’s rare to find a property with this building-to-land ratio, so close to the CDB.”
