CBRE adds new vice president to roster

Alex Ruck

Alex Ruck has joined the Pittsburgh office of CBRE as vice president.

Ruck will work with the company’s office investor leasing team – led by Vice Chairman Jeremy Kronman – which is currently responsible for leasing more than 15 million square feet of office space in Pittsburgh.

With more than 11 years of leasing and sales experience, Ruck joins CBRE from Cushman & Wakefield, where he handled leasing and marketing for high-profile projects including U.S. Steel Tower, RIDC Mill 19, Parkway Center and The Pickering Building. He also participated in the sale of office, lab, retail and industrial properties.

Prior to his time at Cushman & Wakefield, Ruck spent more than nine years at Baker Young Corporation, where he provided leasing, sales and property management services for various clients and asset types. During his tenure, he oversaw all leasing activity for Indiana Regional Medical Center, focused on the sale of distressed assets for national financial institutions, and managed more than 500,000 square feet of office, medical and industrial space.
