CBRE announced that Ed Fanselow has joined CBRE as Director of Marketing and Communications for the firm’s Greater Chicago Region, including four offices in Chicago—Downtown, Schaumburg, Oak Brook, Bannockburn—as well as offices in Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Indianapolis and Cincinnati. In this role, he will oversee all aspects of marketing including content marketing, business development, digital and social media, and public relations. He will be based in CBRE’s new “Workplace360” office in Downtown Chicago.
Mr. Fanselow, 34, joined CBRE from JLL where he was Vice President of Marketing and Communications in the Midwest Region, co-leading a comprehensive integrated marketing program across six Midwest markets including Chicago, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Milwaukee and Des Moines.
Prior to JLL, Mr. Fanselow worked for several marketing, PR and brand-development agencies in Chicago where he consulted a variety of clients in commercial real estate and numerous other industries. Mr. Fanselow also brings more than six years of experience as a journalist, having worked as a staff writer for the Chicago Tribune, the Sun-Times News Group and the Daily Herald.
