CBRE has arranged a 37,000-square-foot retail anchor lease at Prairie Towne Center in Schaumburg, Illinois. Signature Fitness has signed a lease and will open this fall. The new location will be the company’s third in the Chicago area.
CBRE’s Joe Parrott and Sean McCourt represented Prairie Towne Center ownership, Necessity Retail REIT, in the transaction.
Prairie Towne Center is a 263,000-square-foot shopping center at the intersection of Barrington Road and Schaumburg Road that includes Kohls and At Home as additional anchors.
“Signature Fitness is a tremendous fit for Prairie Towne Center, and we are pleased they will occupy the remaining anchor space,” said Parrott. “The area generates significant customer traffic and possesses strong demographics that top retail occupiers look for.”
