CBRE has arranged a new 11,377-square-foot lease within Sherwood Plaza, a 130,000-square-foot redeveloped shopping center in Springfield, Illinois. Boot Barn has signed to terms and will occupy the space in the coming months. This lease brings Sherwood Plaza to full occupancy.
CBRE’s Joe Parrott, Sean McCourt, and Riley McCarron represented the landlord, Seritage Growth Properties, in the transaction. The team has executed ten leases totaling 115,000 square feet at Sherwood Plaza since being awarded the leasing assignment.
The shopping center, which was redeveloped by Seritage Growth Properties, was nearly vacant at the start of the project. CBRE procured and completed ten new leases with tenants such as Burlington, Marshalls, Binny’s Beverage Depot, Outback Steakhouse, Orange Theory Fitness, Northing Bundt Cakes, and Core Life Eatery.
