CBRE has arranged the sale of The Aventine at Oakhurst North, a 464-unit luxury apartment community in Aurora, Illinois. JVM Realty Corporation sold the property for an undisclosed sum to Hayman Company in a transaction that closed January 7, 2021.
CBRE’s Chicago multifamily team of Dan Cohen, John Jaeger, Justin Puppi and Nisha Mishra represented the seller, JVM Realty Corporation, in the deal.
Built in 1999, the property has recent undergone renovations that include updating the clubhouse and amenities, fully renovating approximately 40 percent of the unit interiors and making repairs to major building systems. Current amenities at the property include a large resort-style clubhouse with indoor and outdoor heated pools. The community sits on 28.52 acres and is comprised of twenty-nine 16-unit apartment buildings and the clubhouse.
“The Aventine at Oakhurst presented investors with a solid performing asset while also offering some value-add upside in one of the strongest and most sought-after suburbs in the greater Chicagoland area,” said Cohen.
