CBRE has been awarded the listing assignment for the INEOS campus in Naperville, Illinois. The property was acquired as part of INEOS’s purchase of BP’s petrochemical business The property contains 178 Acres of land and 1,000,000 sq. ft. of building space, presenting a rare development opportunity in a premiere suburban market. The site is zoned ORI.
CBRE’s David Justh and Jeff Kapcheck will market the opportunity on behalf of the seller, INEOS.
Currently, the Naperville campus consists of five buildings, built primarily in the 1970’s as Amoco’s R&D and training center.
The site is strategically located along I-88, making it ideal for many potential uses including office, retail, distribution, data center, and entertainment. Naperville has consistently been recognized as one of the nation’s most livable cities, featuring a highly educated workforce and excellent schools. Naperville is second only to the City of Chicago in retail sales and features a vibrant downtown and excellent public transit, with 33-minute express train service to Chicago.
