CBRE has secured a 2,000-square-foot lease within Peabody Plaza at 701 Market St. in downtown St. Louis. UKRAFT Café and Catering, a St. Louis-based café and catering operator, will open the space by the end of 2020.
The CBRE St. Louis retail team of Paul Fusz, Josh Roedemeier, Nick Garavaglia, Gracie Winkelmann and Allison Bukewski represented UKRAFT Café and Catering in the transaction.
Owned by brothers Matt and Mike Ratz, UKRAFT will serve soups, salads, sandwiches and smoothies in the new café concept. UKRAFT first started out as a food truck before opening a brick-and-mortar location in the Regions Centre building at 8182 Maryland, in downtown Clayton. Owner Matt Ratz said the idea behind the concept is to allow the customers to “kraft” their meals.
