CBRE and USAS have secured a 17,129-square-foot new office lease in the Summit Technology Campus at 800 Chipman Road in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, part of the Kansas City metro area.
Viracor-Eurofins, a biopharma company, will use the space for a new clinical research and development lab testing facility that will increase its operations in the area. This lease brings the 500,000-square-foot Summit Technology Campus building to full occupancy.
Travis Gage of CBRE along with Michael Lanning of USAS are the exclusive marketing agents working on behalf of the property’s owner, KC Summit Technology LLC.
Other leases and existing tenancies that contributed to the building being fully occupied include:
- GSA executed a 20-year lease extension of 316,318 square feet of office space in the building, which is the largest office lease completed in the Kansas City market in 2020. The office houses the U.S. government agency of citizenship and immigration services.
- Bluebird Communications, CVS/Caremark, Quest Diagnostics, and St. Luke’s are other leases in the building.
Located minutes from Kansas City, the 500,000-square-foot technology office campus has ample parking with immediate highway access to Interstate 470 and Highway 50. The property is close to Summit Fair and Summit Woods retail centers with over 60 restaurants.
