CBRE arranged the sale of 226 W. Ontario Street, a 48,000 sq. ft., six-story loft building in Chicago’s River North neighborhood. Concord Capital, a Chicago-based real estate investment firm focused on value-add multifamily and office-to-residential conversion, purchased the property in a deal that closed July 14, 2026. Concord Capital intends to convert the largely unrenovated brick loft building to residential use.
CBRE’s Dominic Soltero and Tom Svoboda represented the seller in the transaction.
The sale marks the sixth office-to-residential conversion trade CBRE’s Private Capital and Land Services team has closed in Chicago over the past 12 months.
