CBRE has arranged the sale of the James J. Hill Center in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. The board of the James J. Hill Center sold the property to First & First in a transaction that closed June 15. A sale price was not disclosed.
This property is not associated with the adjacent St. Paul Public Library.
CBRE’s Jerry Driessen and Frank Sherwood represented the board of the James J. Hill Center in the transaction. Milestone Real Estate Partners was retained by the James J. Hill Center to provide consulting on the processes involved in the transaction.
Built in 1921, the three-story, 43,776-square-foot James J. Hill Center is on the National Historic Register and was established as a free general-purpose reference library to serve the residents of Saint Paul.
