CBRE announced a 36,215-square-foot lease renewal at Woodfield Preserve Office Center, on behalf of Zeller Realty Group (ZRG), to Regus at 10 N. Martingale Road in Schaumburg. Regus, one of the world’s largest providers of flexible workspace, has been a tenant at Woodfield Preserve since 2000.
“Regus offers flexibility within the workspace environment for business occupiers of all sizes. From startup business to large corporate clients, the Woodfield Preserve location has seen a continued trend of clients renewing long term due to the amenities at his location along with the tenured staff and amazing customer service. We anticipate continued growth and occupancy in 2019,” said Denise Rowe, area sales manager, Regus.
Bill Elwood and Rob Graham of CBRE represented ZRG in the transaction. Kellen Monti of JLL represented Regus. “We have seen a lot of great leasing momentum at the Woodfield Peserve, as new firms have decided to relocate here and long-term tenants are renewing for extended terms,” said Elwood. “They are attracted to the significant amount of amenity upgrades and the top-tier location.”
Situated in a campus-like setting on 29 acres with views of the Ned Brown Forest Preserve, Woodfield Preserve connects the desire for a serene office setting with an abundance of amenities immediately surrounding the property such as shopping at the 2.25-million-square-foot Woodfield Mall and a plethora of dining options and hotels. Strategically located along I-290/I-355, the 650,000-square-foot property provides immediate access to the surrounding area, including Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
ZRG has significantly transformed the property by upgrading finishes, adding spec suite spaces and adding numerous amenities to both buildings at Woodfield Preserve. Both buildings boast a full set of amenities including fitness centers, game rooms, conference centers, Wi-Fi lounges and full-service delis with catering services. The buildings are connected by an outdoor courtyard with pergolas and fire pits. Tenants participate in a variety of activities hosted by ZRG throughout the year such as community yoga classes, organic gardening classes, painting parties and various pop-up shops. World-class property management services for the building are provided by ZRG.
“ZRG is committed to developing unique, community-oriented experiences within our buildings. Our focus is to offer amenities and programming that promotes tenant interactions and communal activity; to have an enjoyable environment beyond the four walls of a tenant’s office space,” said Laura Stangle, vice president of asset management at ZRG. “After 19 years of a successful relationship with Regus, we are honored they have chosen to remain an integral part of the community at Woodfield Preserve.”
