CBRE‘s recently held 8th Annual Charity Bash at River Roast drew in more than 650 attendees and altogether, raised approximately $200,000 from the event for four Chicago non-profits– Chicago Cares, Innovations for Learning, Finkl Academy, The American Red Cross of Chicago.
According to the firm, Chicago Cares creates unique volunteer experiences to meet the needs of Chicagoans; Inovations for learning is focused on improving literacy for children; Finkl Academy has been CBRE’s longtime partner since 2009 through the Chicago Public Schools’ “Adopt-A-School” program; and The American Red Cross of Chicago is dedicated to preventing and alleviating human suffering in the face of natural disasters and other emergencies.
Skender Construction was the event’s platinum sponsor and CBRE’s Juile Deignan, Lindsay Binder and Jim Carris led this year’s event committee.
In addition, CBRE Managing Director, Chris Connelly, announced at the event that the firmwill commission a local artist to work on a permanent public art installation for Chicago’s new Riverwalk, directly across from our offices at 321 N. Clark St, to commemorate CBRE’s 40th anniversary in the Chicago market.
