CBRE Hotels sells Comfort Inn & Suites Chicago South

CBRE Hotels has completed the sale of the 66-room Comfort Inn & Suites Chicago South located at 18400 Spring Creek Drive in Tinley Park. Platinum Hospitality sold the property to a private investor who plans to retain the Comfort Inn & Suites franchise.

The three-story Comfort Inn & Suites opened in 2000 and received comprehensive renovations at the end of 2011. The hotel benefits from its high barrier to entry location with deed restrictions for further hotel development as well as its highway access off Interstate 80.

The CBRE Hotels’ Chicago team consisted of senior vice presidents Nate Sahn and James Johnson who represented the seller in the transaction.

“The Comfort Inn & Suites represented an excellent acquisition for new ownership to take advantage of an improving Chicago lodging market and further capitalize on the hotel’s strong location,” Sahn said.
