CBRE is bringing to market a contiguous 326-acre redevelopment opportunity at the current home of Arlington International Racecourse in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Located at the Northwest corner of Euclid Avenue and Wilke Road in Arlington Heights, the infill site has the capacity to support a wide range of uses.
CBRE’s Tony Gange and Matt Ishikawa are marketing the opportunity on behalf of their client, Churchill Downs Incorporated. The property can be taken in full but may also present the option to subdivide.
Arlington International Racecourse has been one of the most acclaimed racetracks in the world with a storied 93-year history of Thoroughbred horse racing. The property provides direct access to transit, with a Metra commuter rail stop and easy highway access at Route 53 off I-90.
“Arlington International Racecourse’s ideal location paired with an abundance of nearby amenities means there is virtually no limit to the possibilities this site presents to developers and investors,” said Ishikawa in a statement. “An infill site of this size with such strong market fundamentals represents a once-in-a-generation chance to bring a large-scale vision to life.”
