CBRE names three to new group president title

CBRE Group, Inc. announced that Jack Durburg, Danny Queenan and Martin Samworth have been named group presidents.

CBRE has established the group president title as a new enterprise-level designation for senior business line and geographic leaders who are making outstanding contributions to CBRE today and are among a small group of executives expected to lead the enterprise at the highest levels in the future.

Durburg is currently the chief executive officer of the Americas region, CBRE’s largest business segment. Queenan is currently the president of CBRE Global Investors, and the company’s development services business, Trammell Crow Company, reports up to him. Samworth is currently the chief executive officer of CBRE’s Europe, Middle East & Africa business segment. The scope of their responsibilities and reporting relationships will not immediately change with these promotions.

“The contributions of Jack, Danny and Martin have significantly advanced our strategy of producing superior client outcomes and helped to create professional growth opportunities for our people around the world,” said Bob Sulentic, president and chief executive officer of CBRE. “They have clearly demonstrated that they are ‘enterprise executives’ who are able to have a profoundly positive impact not only on the businesses they run, but on our entire company. Their promotions signal our confidence that CBRE is very well positioned long into the future.”
