CBRE names VP in Columbus office

Shelby Gumpf

Shelby Gumpf has been promoted to vice president with CBRE Industrial & Logistics in Columbus, Ohio.

Gumpf joined CBRE’s Columbus office as an associate in 2018, where she focused on analyzing the real estate requirements of industrial occupier clients and implementing portfolio strategies that meet their business needs. She is one of the top-10 professionals in the company’s Columbus office and among the top-five industrial professionals in Columbus based on production volume for 2021.

Gumpf originally joined CBRE in 2017, serving as a transaction specialist with its Global Workplace Solutions Portfolio Advisory and Transaction Services team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In that role, she assisted in strategic planning, transaction execution and ongoing portfolio optimization initiatives for a diverse set of leading corporations.

At the time, the team was responsible for portfolio advisory across 75 million square feet in more than 60 countries. Before joining CBRE, Gumpf worked as a commercial real estate agent with The Schueler Group and a property manager at Phillips Edison & Company. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Cincinnati.
