CB Richard Ellis represented the California State Teacher’s Retirement System in signing Brightstar US, Inc. in a 105,220-square-foot expansion and 136,980-square-foot renewal at 2000 USG Drive, Libertyville, Ill.  With the expansion, Brightstar now occupies the entire 242,200 square feet industrial warehouse building.

CBRE’s Keith Puritz, Brett Kroner, Ryan Bain and Zach Graham represented the landlord in the transaction, while Lynn Reich and Kelly Joyce of Colliers International negotiated on behalf of the tenant.

Located within the Libertyville Business Park, 2000 USG Drive is a high cube warehouse/distribution facility.  Features of the building include 16 exterior loading docks, 9″ insulated precast concrete panels, grade level doors and over 300 parking spaces.  Brightstar has been a tenant in the building since 2007.

Brightstar is a global services company that provides services and solutions and value-added distribution that enhance the performance and profitability of the three key participants in the wireless device ecosystem: device manufacturers, network operators and retailers.
