CBRE is bringing the former Urbana University campus to market in Urbana, Ohio. The campus, originally built in 1850, sits on 115 acres and is comprised of 22 buildings totaling 350,784 square feet, including new athletic facilities, a solar panel field and surplus land.
CBRE’s Anne Rahm and Todd Greiner are marketing the campus for sale on behalf of the owner, Franklin University.
Located about 45 miles from both Columbus and Dayton, Ohio, the property is uniquely situated in an established and desirable suburban area featuring an eclectic mix of neighborhood commercial and office uses with a residential background.
The City of Urbana offers investors multiple incentive programs. The campus is located in an Enterprise Zone, a CRA district as well as Urbana Energy Special Improvement District.
