CBRE Hotels recently arranged the sale of the 83-room Holiday Inn Express South located at Interstate-380 at 33rd Avenue in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
CBRE Hotels’ Nate Sahn, senior vice president, and Douglas Johnson, first vice president, represented the owner, Amana-Nordstrom, Inc. in the sale. The buyer is Sioux Falls, SD-based Bird Dog Equity Partners. The new ownership plans to renovate the hotel to the Holiday Inn Express Formula Blue design prototype.
Conveniently located along the Interstate 380 corridor, the Holiday Inn Express South offers easy access to downtown Cedar Rapids, the Eastern Iowa Airport, Iowa City, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, I-80 and Highway 30. The hotel offers amenities that include an on-site fitness center and an indoor pool.
