CBRE Group, Inc. facilitated CDK Global‘s long-term, 172,000-square-foot office lease at Central Parke I & III in Norwood, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.
CDK Global, the largest global provider of integrated information technology and digital marketing solutions to the automotive retail industry, will house its customer support operations in the new space and bring 1,000 full-time jobs to Norwood.
In the end, CDK will backfill over 170,000 square feet at Central Parke. The space was vacated by Cincinnati Bell as a part of their move to downtown Cincinnati in 2015.
The firm decided to expand its business in the Cincinnati area because of well-educated, diverse labor market and strong business climate in Ohio. The project is one of many large wins for Southwest Ohio over the last several quarters. In 2014, General Electric (GE) plans to open its 340,000-square-foot build-to-suit U.S. global operations center in downtown Cincinnati. The center will be home to 1,800 GE employees, most of which will be new to the area.
Travis Likes and John Eckert from CBRE’s Cincinnati office, in addition to David Saad from the Chicago office, represented CDK Global in the deal. CBRE’s Project Management team was also engaged to provide local perspective and improvements to the property.
Scott Yards, John Eckert and Travis Likes dedicate their effort to representing tenants, landlords and developers in the leasing, selling and purchasing of office properties on both a local and national level.
